Collections. Howe has over 79,000 items in
a variety of formats. These include fiction and nonfiction books,
large type books, audio books and music on cassettes and CDs,
videos, CDROMs, newspapers and magazines in print and on microfilm,
art prints, online databases and electronic books.
New Items Lists:
Every two months lists
of new materials are
produced. Lists include fiction (with annotations), mysteries,
science fiction, nonfiction, large type, reference, videos, audio
cassettes and CDs.
Books To Go:
For book
groups: bags include 10 copies of a book, biographical information
about the author and questions to get your discussion started.

Home Delivery:
Volunteers
are available to deliver books to home bound residents of Hanover.
Staff will select books if requested. Please contact the Reference
staff for more information.
Meeting Rooms:
Three community meeting rooms are available at the library for public use for non-profit groups engaged in educational, cultural, civic, intellectual or charitable activities. The rooms may be reserved as often as once a month. Application for use should be made a maximum of 3 months prior to the date requested. Contact the Library Office Manager. See room use policies. |
