A selection of the staff's favorite Internet sites by topic are solid resources. Selected sites for teens and children are also available.

Selected Internet sites are in the Howe Library catalog with direct links to the websites. Look up a subject and in many cases you will find a "web resource" on the topic with a link to the Internet site.


 It is important to evaluate the information
that you find on the Internet.

Howe Library's online databases, including KnowHowe, the online catalog for the Howe and Etna Libraries, are available to provide information.

Public Internet Access Computers:

Howe Library has public computers available to access the Internet and the library's online databases. (See Howe's Internet Use Guidelines.) One of the public computers has special software for scrren reading and screen magnification for those with vision impairments.There are wireless laptop computers available for use in the library. Inquire at the check-out desk for details.
