Library cards provide borrowing privileges at the Howe and Etna Libraries. Library cards should be presented at the time of checkout.
Library cards are available at no charge for: Hanover residents & taxpayers Dartmouth students Dresden students & teachers Hanover businesses & nonprofits (some restrictions apply)
Non-resident cards (see our non-resident fee policy) $120.00 per year for an individual or family (effective July 1, 2009) $ 50.00 for three months for an individual or family $ 80.00 per year for senior citizens Non-resident cards provide all library services free of charge except interlibrary loans. There is a small fee for this special service.
