Etna Library Long Range Planning Survey - 2012
We need your opinions and ideas...
According to its mission statement, the Etna Library “will be an active presence in the village, providing its services to the community in a personal manner while preserving the historic building.” In 2010, numerous generous donations enabled the town to purchase the land surrounding the library. With the land purchased, plans have been drawn up by a local architect in collaboration with Town staff, Etna Library trustees and library staff for the construction of :
- a safe parking area
- entrance and bathroom easily accessible for the disabled via the proposed parking lot
The Long Range Planning Committee has developed this 14 question survey to find out what, if anything, you would want added to the Etna Library beyond the improvements proposed in the first addition described above. Any further construction would be funded solely with private donations. The deadline for completed surveys is March 1, 2012.
