Wednesday, January 14, 2009  The Howe Library has three Amazon Kindles, wireless and portable reading devices. Each device holds approximately 200 titles, but Howe Library is offering a limited number of titles because our goal is to simply give our patrons the opportunity to try out new technologies. The Kindles are available to take home for one week and you may place your name on the reserve list, just as you do with other library materials. This new service is made available by the Sunup Foundation which has recently donated funds in memory of Joy Lange Boardman, a long-time library volunteer.
